The Code of Honor:
- or, Rules for the Government of Principals and Seconds in Duelling Published in 1838 by a former governor of South Carolina, with an appendix of the 1777 Irish duelling code. Not quite Regency on either side, but it can give some idea of the mindset and ceremony involving a duel. A Project Gutenberg Edition.

Earthly Delights English Country Dancing
- John Garden shares with us the English Country dances that were danced in the movies "Pride & Prejudice" and "Emma". (Dance instructions and midis) Of interest to Australian visitors to this site, in 2004 John and Aylwen Garden from Earthly Delights are organizing a Playford Dance Party and a Regency Dance Party, where you will get a chance to dance some of these dances.

Quadrille Steps
- Instructions for the Quadrille, taken from The Code of Terpsichore, by Carlo Blasis, published in English in 1828. The Quadrille is reported to have been introduced into London society by Lady Jersey who debuted it at Almack's. The Quadrille is a four couple dance, the couples forming a square with the lady in each couple on her partner's right. Anyone familiar with Scottish or Irish dances (or English country dances) will recognize many of the steps.
